The lesson helps learners to understand the differences between implicit and explicit information which is a key skill required for their GCSE’s. The lesson looks at one of the issues of Free School Meals during the Co-vid crisis and how this was overcome by the footballer Marcus Rasford. This recourse has opportunities for both individual and team games and also helps to develop key English skills such as making inferences and speaking and listening.
