This lesson has been designed for learners studying any level of Functional Skills or ESOL English. The lesson looks at how to develop a response for a practise writing exam and things to look out for when writing a response. The booklet explores several important themes of the story and also includes a creative writing task that guides students to producing their own piece of writing. This is a 19 slide PowerPoint quiz for the WJEC Eduqas poetry anthology. The quiz has three separate rounds which help assess learners ability to: Recall key contextual information about the poets, Identify the missing elements from key quotations and assess who has an in-depth understanding of the poems and what they may need to work on in the future.
