2 HOURS - detailed British Values lessons for KS3/4 which includes 2x one hour long, differentiated PowerPoint, clips, and worksheets.
This can be used for either form time or Citizenship, this lesson can be split over short sessions or used for 2 x full hours. The lessons follow on from each other and explore immigration, British history, ethnicity and the fact that if we all go back far enough we will find ancestors that came to settle in Britain from other countries.

A 25 minute Tutor Time session created especially for LGBT+ Month (Feb 2019). The session serves as an introduction to the LGBT+ / LGBTQAI community, breaking down the acronyms and investigating why it is still a term which it isn’t always easy to define.
This is the first of six sessions to be used throughout LGBT+ month, each focusing on and exploring the culture and history of a different aspect of the LGBTQAI community, from Lesbians (L) to Intersex (I).
The session contains three challenge learning outcomes, slides of easy to digest information, a clip task with differentiated questions, a quiz and final reflection task. The session is editable and been created to be perfect to just pick up and use.

An assembly to introduce or reinforce the four core British Values. This is a light-hearted assembly where the King introduces British Values and their importance to a less than interested student (called Loudmouth Lewis) to try to win him over. It lasts about 15-20 mins if all the clips are watched.

2 HOURS, fully resourced PSHE lesson all about role models, current social media influencers and the positive and negative influence they can have. The lesson follows a girl called Shelly, who wants to look like her idols, the Kardashians, before investigating more thoroughly the link between role models and self-esteem. A large part of the lesson investigates the lack of positive role models for young people in the media and sets students the challenge of establishing what makes a positive role model, before researching whether they can find celebs and public figures that meet their criteria.
