1 hour, detailed and well differentiated lesson about why PSHE is such an important subject and how it contributes to the all-round success in life of every student - ideal for KS4 as a recap or introduction. The lesson focuses what the three main aspects of PSHE education are (RSE, Living in the Wider World and Health and Wellbeing) before examining a number of case studies where young adults’ lives could have been transformed had they paid attention in their PSHE lessons. It includes a detailed PowerPoint, worksheets, differentiated activities, clip and literacy focus and debate tasks. It could be used either for KS3 or KS4, but was created with KS4 mostly in mind (to remind them why the subject is so important, despite them also studying for exams). Everything is editable.
