1 hour, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for upper KS2 or lower KS3 all about what alcohol is and why people drink it as well as the short and long term effects. The lesson investigates why a person may want to change their mood in the first place and why some people end up abusing alcohol. All information needed to teach this is included within the PowerPoint, clip task and worksheets as well as the scavenger activity.
The lesson has been left editable and is filled with engaging, well differentiated and fun activities. It is designed to be ‘no prep’, so you can just pick it up and use it, although it is still adaptable should you wish to.

USE FOR ANY TOPIC, any lesson - editable and easy to use. Progress can be assessed as a baseline at the start of a new lesson or topic, and returned to at the end to measure progress against whichever LO the student has chosen or you have asked them to work to today.
As this pack is completely editable, you can also change the progress descriptors to suit whatever system your school uses, whether rag rating, your own school mastery descriptors or any other.
This has been created to be used with any lesson in the EC Resources Complete KS3 Pack (although they can be easily amended to fit any school’s scheme).

Edexcel GCSE Citizenship 9-1 spec content revision quiz, easy to use, great to dip into for plenaries and completely free. This could also be used with other exam boards as much of the same content is covered, but it was made for Edexcel specifically. Includes easy hand-out answer sheet so students can mark each other’s answers or their own.
All the content questions are based on the latest spec papers, past questions, spec and assessment material released for the 9-1 Citizenship GCSE exams.

A one-hour lesson suitable for KS2 (or a low ability Year 7 group), all about the meaning of body image and what makes some people have a negative or positive body image. It is well differentiated with three-level challenges for each task, contains a variety of activities, an hour long PowerPoint, a clip with questions, new key-term introductions, reading aloud materials and creative tasks.
The lesson also encourages students to reflect on how the media and celebrities themselves edit their images before sharing them publicly and how we can help others to feel more body-positive. It is fully editable, engaging and very easy to follow.

A lesson all about whether a tolerant society has to tolerate some intolerant views (in order to be truly tolerant). Students will examine the both sides of the argument in detail before coming to their own conclusions. This lesson is best suited to KS4 / KS5.
