The assembly reflects on women’s and LGBT+ rights, racism, black lives matter, and finally focuses on income inequality - and how and why this is rising. The message of the assembly is that although the UK has improved so much in the last fifty years, we cannot take it for granted that we live in a country of equal opportunities, which is why we need to develop our skills of resilience, perseverance and determination to succeed more than ever.
