Being a good friend KS1 PSHE lesson.
A one-hour long, very detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for KS1. This lesson has been created for Year 2, however, the activities may also be suitable for younger KS2 children (Year 3).
In this lesson, the students will learn what makes someone a good friend. We will discuss the qualities and characteristics that we look for in a friend and reflect on the benefits of having friends who are different from us.

Caring for living things KS1 PSHE lesson.
A one-hour long, very detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for KS1. This lesson has been created for Year 1, however, the activities are also suitable for students in Year 2, and could easily be adapted for use with older students.
In this lesson, the children will learn about the responsibilities associated with caring for living things. We will talk about ‘needs’ and reflect on the various things animals and plants must have if they are to survive. The students will read Don’t let them disappear by Chelsea Clinton, before completing a conservation poster activity linked to the text.
