Secrets EYFS PSHE lesson. A detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for EYFS/Reception age children. Created by our early years specialist, this lesson has been designed for use with children in Reception, however, the PowerPoint and activities could be adapted for use with other age groups.
In this lesson, the children will learn about secrets and what we should do if a secret ever makes us feel sad, angry, scared, or unhappy. We will discuss the difference between good secrets and bad secrets and how we can tell if it is okay to keep a secret.
The lesson includes a brief mindfulness starter activity (to ensure a swift start to the lesson), a story with accompanying questions, an adult-led focus task, an independent activity to be carried out during continuous provision, and a plenary task.
Created to fit the new DfE and PSHE Association statutory 2020 /21 guidelines, the lesson includes a detailed PowerPoint, all editable with accompanying tasks and worksheets.
The lesson has been left editable and is filled with engaging activities. It is designed to be ‘no prep’, so you can just pick it up and use it, although it is still adaptable should you wish to.

UPDATED with extra content! A one-two hour lesson suitable for upper KS2 / KS3 (Year 7), all about boys’ puberty, written for the new 2020 PSHE Guidelines. The pack introduces the physical and emotional changes that boys usually encounter throughout puberty, although it emphasises the fact that what’s normal for one person can be different to the next.

It focuses on the reasons surrounding the rise of extremism in the UK and globally, examining the different right wing groups and their ideologies.

This detailed 17 page PSHE / RSE workbook has been created for the new PSHE / RSE and Health 2020 Statutory Guidance and focuses on consent, boundaries and unwanted / inappropriate contact. It contains all of the information needed to learn about the topic in the first few pages, then the rest of the booklet is full of activities to complete.
The booklet is differentiated and great for recording progress in PSHE. It’s easy to print and editable (as it comes in a portrait-version ready to print PowerPoint as well as a PDF version) - so you can always amend it for your students. This could be left as cover (as appropriate to the class and cover teacher) as there’s nothing explicit on the relationships side of things and all of the terminology is carefully explained. Kindness - Let’s Fill a Bucket EYFS PSHE lesson.

New 2024 PSHE lesson all about ableism as well as visible and invisible disabilities and how people can be treated differently in work, school and public environments - sometimes breaking the Equality Act 2010.
Students will examine exactly what we mean by ableism, by exploring examples and case studies, with a focus on prejudice and discrimination. They will also establish the difference between purposeful ableism (e.g to save money in a workplace) and ableism from naivety. The lesson includes case studies, clip tasks, creative tasks, analysis and literacy tasks and much more. Created for KS3 but could be used as a reminder for KS4.

What is money? KS1 PSHE lesson. A one-two hour long, very detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for KS1. This lesson has been created for Year 2, however, the contents may also suit younger students in KS2 (Year 3).
In this lesson, the students will learn about the evolution of money, from the barter system to the modern-day.
