A lesson which enables secondary students to investigate the modern epidemic of loneliness, it's link to increased use of social media, how loneliness affects our health and what we can do to combat it.
Created to help cover 2024 DfE and PSHE Association guidelines for: Identify and articulate a range of emotions accurately and sensitively, using appropriate vocabulary.
Describe the characteristics of mental and emotional health and strategies for managing these.

Healthy eating PSHE Lesson. A one-hour long, very detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for KS2. This lesson has been created for Year 3, however, the contents of the lesson are suitable for students across KS2.
In this lesson, the students will learn about healthy eating and the different types of foods that we need to eat to keep ourselves healthy. We will discuss the main food groups: carbohydrates; proteins; fats; fruit and vegetables, and why our bodies need them.
We will also discuss appropriate quantities for each type of food with the help of a healthy food pyramid. The lesson includes an information sheet, a video clip task, a food pyramid puzzle activity, a reflection activity, and a debate plenary task.

All about feelings KS1 PSHE lesson. A one-two hour long, very detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for KS1. This lesson has been created for Year 2, however, the activities may also suit younger students in KS2 (Year 3).

People who care for me PSHE lesson. A one-hour long, very detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson that serves as a gentle introduction to family problems, and neglectful or abusive relationships.
This lesson has been created for Year 3, as such, the main focus of the lesson is about what we should all expect from caring family relationships and ways that we can seek help if we ever feel unhappy or unsafe.
