Germs and illness PSHE Lesson. A one hour-long, very detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for KS2. This lesson allows students to investigate germs, how they spread, and what we can do to protect ourselves. The students will learn about different types of germs, including viruses and bacteria. We will look at how we can wash our hands effectively and why this is so important. The students will carry out a series of experiments that will demonstrate both how germs can spread, but also how we protect ourselves. The lesson includes literacy tasks, match up tasks, clip tasks and much more.

Recycling KS1 PSHE lesson.
A one-hour long, very detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for KS1. This lesson has been created for Year 1, however, the activities are also suitable for students in Year 2, and could easily be adapted for use with older students.
In this lesson, the children will learn about recycling. We will discuss the reasons why recycling is so important as well as taking a closer look at the different types of materials that can and can’t be recycled.
The students will read Why do we recycle? by Jen Green, before completing an activity linked to the text. The lesson includes a case study starter, a story with accompanying questions, a recycling sorting task and a debate-style plenary.
This lesson would also serve as a useful resource to celebrate ‘Earth Day’.

Sun Safety EYFS PSHE lesson.
A detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for EYFS/Reception age children. This lesson has been designed for use with children in Reception, however, the PowerPoint and activities could be adapted for use with other age groups.
In this lesson, the children will learn how we can keep ourselves safe in the sun. We will discuss the harmful effects of the suns rays as well as the different ways that we can protect ourseslves. We will read Amy Coles’ story, Sparkle Kitty vs The Sun, before carrying out a choice of adult-led and independent activities.

Caring for Ourselves and Others - EYFS PSHE lesson.
A detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for EYFS/Reception age children. This lesson has been designed for use with children in Reception, however, the PowerPoint and activities could be adapted for use with other age groups.
This fully resourced PSHE lesson talks about kindness and the different ways that we can care for both ourselves and others.
The children will learn the importance of taking care of their bodies both physically and emotionally. We will talk about being ‘kind to ourselves’ and how this relates to our feelings when make mistakes or experience setbacks and failures. We will also discuss the different ways that we can take care of our friends and loved ones, and the reasons why this is so important.

Gender stereotypes KS2 PSHE Lesson. A one hour-long, very detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for KS2. This lesson has been created for Year 3, however, the resource is suitable for use across KS2. In this lesson, the students will explore gender stereotypes and the negative impact that they can have on a person’s career. We will look at some examples of positive and negative stereotypes and discuss how these ideas can lead to people being treated unfairly. We will look at the experiences of women in STEM, with a particular focus on the mistreatment of female scientists throughout history. We will then discuss different ways that we can challenge gender stereotypes and ways that we can celebrate the achievements of women. An editable end of term assembly with a focus on being grateful and thankful. Many more slides here than you see on the preview! The narrative follows three children and how their lives have changed due to circumstances beyond their control. It lasts about 15-20 minutes if clip is watched too. The assembly emphasises the value of education and how lucky the students are to live in a country with free access to school. It challenges them to think about others less fortunate throughout their break and to come back refreshed but also appreciating how lucky they are.
It has a couple of jokes thrown in and interesting facts too and ends on a happy note :)

A 25 minute Tutor Time session created especially for LGBT+ Month (Feb 2019). This is the sixth of six sessions to be used throughout LGBT+ month, each focusing on and exploring the culture and history of a different aspect of the LGBTQAI community, from Lesbians (L) to Intersex (I).
The session contains three challenge learning outcomes, slides of easy to digest information, a clip task with differentiated questions, a quiz and final reflection task. The session is editable and been created to be perfect to just pick up and use.
