A 25 minute Tutor Time session all about why veganism and vegetarianism are increasing in popularity. The session investigates whether these ways of eating are healthier, why people believe it is difficult to be vegan and the main reasons why people are taking up diets that avoid animal products. The session contains three challenge learning outcomes, slides of easy to digest information, a clip task with differentiated questions, a quiz and final reflection task. The session is editable and been created to be perfect to just pick up and use. The slides in the previews are just a sample and not the whole session.

This is the third of six sessions to be used throughout LGBT+ month, each focusing on and exploring the culture and history of a different aspect of the LGBTQAI community and challenges faced e.g, transphobia and bullying. This lesson has a focus on what it means to be gay, as well as homophobia.
The session contains three challenge learning outcomes, slides of easy to digest information, a clip task with differentiated questions, a quiz and final reflection task. The session is editable and been created to be perfect to just pick up and use.

Big feelings and how to manage them KS1 PSHE lesson. A one-two hour long, very detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for KS1. This lesson has been created for Year 2, however, the activities may also suit younger students in KS2 (Year 3).
In this lesson, the students will learn about strong emotions and how to manage them. The students will read Ruby’s Worry by Tom Percival and reflect on the importance of talking to someone whenever we are upset or worried.
We will discuss different examples of worries, the effect that they have on us, and strategies that we can use to help ourselves, or our friends to feel better. The lesson includes a case study starter, a read-aloud activity with a comprehension task, a worry-themed discussion task, a set of case studies and a plenary.

Feeling lonely KS1 PSHE lesson.
A one-hour long, very detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for KS1. This lesson has been created for Year 2, however, the activities may also be suitable for younger KS2 children (Year 3).

Privacy and unwanted touch - KS1 PSHE
A collection of PSHE resources that have been created to cover the ‘Relationships’ strand of the PSHE Association’s Programme of Study for KS1.
In particular, the resources in this bundle focus on keeping private parts private and the correct way to respond to an unsafe or unwanted touch.
The 5-lesson unit includes the following:
All about bodies (Year 1)
This lesson introduces the correct terminology for private body parts and discusses what it means to keep our private parts private.
My body belongs to me (Year 1)
This lesson explores different kinds of physical contact including wanted and unwanted forms of touch.The students will be introduced to the swimwear unsafe touch safety rule and we will discuss the correct way to respond to an unsafe or unwanted touch.
Asking for permission (Year 1)
This lesson explores the concept of asking for permissions and the various scenarios where it is polite to do so. We will discuss consent in an age appropriate context (specifically asking permission before giving someone a hug or stroking a cat or dog.)
Brilliant Bodies (Year 2 - Free Download)
This health lesson explores the correct scientific terms for a variety of body parts, including private body parts (penis, testicles and vulva). We will also revisit safe and unsafe touch including the ‘swimwear’ safety rule.
Secrets and surprised
This lesson explores harmful secrets and happy surprises with a particular focus on unsafe touch and what to do if you ever feel pressure to keep something unsafe or upsetting a secret.
Each lesson includes a variety of fun and creative activities, plus enough teaching materials to last at least an hour.
The resources are also suitable for use in schools who have opted to follow the PSHE Association’s Thematic Model for KS1.

KS1 - What is the Internet?
Feelings and Emotions PSHE Lesson. A one hour-long, very detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for LKS2. This lesson has been created for Year 3, however, the contents of the resource are suitable for students across KS2. Getting hurt KS1 PSHE lesson.
A one-hour long, very detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for KS1. This lesson has been created for Year 1, however, the activities are also suitable for use in Year 2.
In this lesson, the children will learn about getting physically or emotionally hurt, and how we can get help. We will listen to ‘Ouch Moments: When Words are Used in Hurtful Ways’ by Michael Genhart and Viviana Garofoli, before completing a set of activities linked to the text.
The students will identify examples of how a person’s body or feelings can be hurt, before reflecting on a set of case studies.

Healthy Food / Healthy Eating EYFS PSHE lesson.
A detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for EYFS/Reception age children. This lesson has been designed for use with children in Reception, however, the PowerPoint and activities could be adapted for use with other age groups.

Healthy Bodies and Exercise EYFS PSHE lesson.
A detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for EYFS/Reception age children. This lesson has been designed for use with children in Reception, however, the PowerPoint and activities could be adapted for use with other age groups.
