2 HOURS online safety lesson - A new, double lesson all about the problems teens face from group chats and online messaging services. The lesson focuses on WhatsApp and the problems caused by teens using the service before the legal joining age of sixteen. Many issues are explored in detail, such as mob mentality leading to cyber-bullying in large group chats, the T+Cs of messaging services (especially how they own any content you post and the possible repercussions of this) as well as practical advice on how to distance yourself from online trouble and legal issues.

2 HOURS - NEW FOR 2024 - An in-depth look at County Lines, who is at risk and how young people and the vulnerable are exploited. Students will uncover the dark truth behind the gang lifestyle, looking at some of Britain’s most notorious gangs, assessing the recent successes of the police in smashing the system and making arrests. The lesson covers how gangs lure young people in, what it means to be a mule and the penalties gang members have faced for violence, drug dealing and weapon-trading.
Studewill explore how County Lines exploitation often affects males and females differently, how the vulnerable are turned into ‘cuckoos’, where to go for help if gangs touch our own lives in any way and much more.
The lesson includes case studies, clip tasks, creative tasks, analysis and literacy tasks and much more. Created for KS3 but could be used as a reminder for KS4.

Students will explore what is meant by neurotypical and neurodiverse, the various conditions we ascribe to being neurodiverse and the challenges faced by those living with them. All About Me - EYFS PSHE lesson.
Created with a view to being delivered early on in the new school year, this fully resourced lesson is a perfect introduction to the PSHE curriculum and should serve as a helpful resource to settle children into a new environment. Whilst the lesson has been created with Reception in mind, the activities could be adapted for use with children in adjacent year groups.
In this lesson, the children will learn about their likes, dislikes, and the things that make us special and different from everyone else. We will listen to Super Duper You by Sophy Henn, before completing activities linked to the text.
The lesson includes a sing-along starter (to ensure a swift start to the lesson), a story focus with discussion prompts, an adult-led focus task, independent activities to be carried out during continuous provision, and a plenary task.
Created to fit the new DfE and PSHE Association statutory 2020 /21 guidelines, the lesson includes a detailed PowerPoint, all editable with accompanying tasks and worksheets.
The lesson has been left editable and is filled with engaging activities. It is designed to be ‘no prep’, so you can just pick it up and use it, although it is still adaptable should you wish to.
LGBT Relationships + Rights - Students will examine LGBT+ rights in 5 different countries; Scotland, Jamaica, Uganda, America and Iran. They will compare and contrast the rights in order to give accurate and helpful travel advice to a young gay couple about to travel the world - who have these places on their itinerary. They will then focus on a question - should we be focusing LGBT+ activism on fighting for rights outside of the UK? Includes clip tasks, active tasks, creative tasks, comprehension, literacy and more. All editable and ready to go. One hour long, best suited UKS3 or KS4.

A new lesson focusing on personal hygiene, oral health and the prevention of infections (covering all three topics as stipulated by DfE / PSHE Association Guidelines). Students will explore how they can maintain excellent personal and oral hygiene, why this is important and the consequences of if they don’t. They will then investigate what infections are, how we can prevent them from happening and how we can prevent them from spreading. KS2 Primary PSHE - Challenging Harmful Influences and Gender Stereotypes. In this lesson, students will explore the positive qualities and characteristics to consider when choosing a role model to emulate or be influenced by.
Created to counter the harmful views propagated by online influencers such as Andrew Tate, this lesson empowers children to become critical consumers of information, rather than accepting online hearsay as fact. Intended as a gentle precursor to secondary school topics of misogyny and toxic masculinity, this lesson reminds students of their previous learning on gender stereotypes and applies this knowledge to new scenarios related to harmful gender stereotypes.
While this lesson does not explicitly name Andrew Tate, we will apply our critical thinking skills to an age-appropriate selection of Tate’s quotes without crediting him as the influencer (please note that we have been careful to select examples that include no sexual references or violence). This lesson is suitable for students in UKS2 (Year 6) or possibly LKS3 students in Year 7.

NEW 2024 lesson all about deepfakes and malicious AI use. Students will explore what we mean by deepfakes and malicious AI, before discovering how celebrities, politicians and citizens are falling victim of this new technology. They will investigate the new UK law (April 2024) and the penalties aimed at different types of deepfakes, including explicit ones (no imagery will be seen, just the concept discussed). Deepfakes are a new focus suggested in the current draft 2024 RSHE guidelines, and whether these pass or not, the problems caused by deepfakes are certainly something students should learn about.
Students will complete analysis tasks, literacy tasks, creative tasks, clip tasks and much more. Includes full lesson plan and the written scheme of work that the lesson is taken from.

**Same but different KS1 Diversity PSHE lesson. **
A one-hour long, very detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for KS1. This lesson has been created for Year 2, however, with some small alterations the contents may also suit younger KS1 students (Year 1).
In this lesson, the students will be discussing diversity and what it means to be unique. We will look at a variety of ways that we can be the same as, and different to others. We will also discuss the reasons why it’s good to be different, and how beneath the surface we often find similarities with people who may initially seem to be very different from ourselves.
The lesson includes a starter activity, a video clip with questions, a main activity that features Karl Newson’s story ‘The Same but Different Too’, and a ‘find someone who’ plenary task.

Drop Down Day / Off Timetable Day Pack - A set of 6 lessons to cover a Drop Down Day (6 hours) all about democracy, elections and voting.
The Drop Down Day was put together for Year 9 originally, but all the resources are editable and well-differentiated so it could be used with any year group KS4 / KS3 with a tweak or so.
The overall theme for the series of KS3 Drop Down Days was ‘British Values’, so this is just one in a series of six which ran throughout the year. The day works especially well if you can align it with voting for the student council or prefects. At the end of the sessions, after carefully studying the democratic process, the students could come down to the hall to cast their vote.
There is much focus on British Values throughout the lessons as this was planned to ensure thorough coverage of Citizenship and SMSC.

DOUBLE LESSON Friendship / being a good friend and managing fall-outs PSHE / RSE lesson. Created in 2024 to cover both the DfE and PSHE Association’s current guidelines. Everything is editable. engaging and easy to follow, with a variety of activities, from scaffolded written tasks, clip tasks, a game, creative tasks, active tasks, case study analysis and much more. Lesson plan included.
Students will investigate what personal qualities we need to be a good friend, how to differentiate good, genuine friendship groups from toxic ones as well as how we can be a good friend online, when our friends need us most.

TWO HOUR new 2024 PSHE lesson all about peer pressure and peer influence. In this lesson students will discover the psychology behind peer pressure and peer influence - why we feel so inclined to act the same way as our peers. After learning this, they will explore many clear strategies which have been proven to work to avoid being pressured into situations by their peers which they don’t feel comfortable with. The lesson includes case studies, clip tasks, creative tasks, analysis and literacy tasks and much more. Created for KS3 but could be used as a reminder for KS4. Includes lesson plan.
