Introduction to UK Parliament lessons - 2x 1 hour Citizenship lessons all about Parliament and Law Making. Students will learn all about the Houses of Parliament, the Commons, the Lords and the different positions within, as well as how it operates. Multiculturalism - One - two hours (if all tasks fully completed). Fully resourced lesson which introduces multiculturalism and the arguments for and against it. It also recaps on fundamental British Values. The lesson is adaptable, easy to follow and fully differentiated. It could be used by a KS3 or KS4 Citizenship or PSHE group.

1 hour, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for upper KS2 or lower KS3 all about asking for help and advice on both matters which may seem trivial, but also following gut feelings when you feel someone could be in danger or being hurt. This lesson covers how to seek suitable help and advice online from trusted sites for young people, by calling suitable helplines or by asking appropriate adults
(as specified by the new 2020 PSHE Association Guidelines).

Body image, social media and eating disorders PSHE lesson. New edition, all new content (2023) all editable. A lesson all about how we must be discerning consumers of media when it comes to health, diet and body image. An assembly which focuses on why positive attitudes towards learning and good behaviour are essential in order for students to have successful futures. The assembly encourages the students to link their behaviour they display now with their future career prospects and exam results.
The assembly also explores the concept of unrealistic expectations when it comes to career prospects and emphasises why working hard at school is not only important but essential for eventual happy and fulfilled lives.

A Medical Ethics Unit lasting 12 hours (one lesson is a double) that was created for Year 9 RE, but could easily be used for a capable Year 8 or none-GCSE KS4 group.
Each lesson is very detailed, editable and differentiated three ways with colour-coded challenge tasks for every activity. The lessons are very easy to follow as all the instructions are on the PowerPoints and worksheets. Each of the individual lessons have had excellent reviews so far.

In this lesson, the students will discuss why we need to be careful when communicating with others online. We will discuss ways that we can be respectful to others, and identify examples of unacceptable online behaviour. Job Interviews + Preparation. For the Gatsby Careers Guidelines - a detailed lesson containing a 1-2 hour PowerPoint, worksheets, clips, interview role play activities - for KS3/ KS4.
This lesson has recently been updated for 2024, and students will spend the first part following the journey of a student called Katey, as she tries to gain a position in the tech industry. They will follow her from Year 8, how she prepared, worked hard and overcame setbacks up until the age of 22, when she finally lands a job at a small start-up.
Students will then think about their own journeys, before completing job interview role play exercises and finally creating a TikTok (not on their phones) about how preparation for their eventual successful job interview actually starts now, whilst still at school.
