1 hour, fully resourced RE lesson all about Protestantism and its denominations. The lesson investigates what Protestantism is and how it has split over hundreds of years into many denominations. Students conduct a detailed investigation into four denominations - Lutheranism, Anglicanism, Methodists and Baptists. They then compare and contrast these before completing a mini essay at the end. This is great practice for GCSE RE skills and is perfect as a KS3 Christianity lesson or KS4 non-GCSE lesson. A two hour, fully-resourced PSHE lesson all about making responsible personal hygiene and health choices. This lesson covers vaccinations, blood and organ donation, stem cell research and personal hygiene. Students will investigate the importance of all of these factors for both preventing the spread of disease and treating illnesses in others. They will also exam the moral implications behind ideas such as stem cell research and learn a bit about the science behind these too (although this is not a science lesson, it is a PSHE lesson).
