The pack contains 36 hours’ worth of material (many of these lessons have been designed to last two hours).
This is a mix of Year 12 and Year 13 lessons.

There is a heavy focus on careers in this KS5 pack (see ten lesson careers unit included), but also on relatively new issues your students will have to tackle as young adults in an ever changing world - from extremist online subcultures and payday loans, to climate change, coercive relationships and safe clubbing and partying. This pack is tailored specifically for sixth-formers who are just taking their first steps towards being independent adults.
All lesson packs are complete with detailed, well-differentiated and easy to follow PowerPoints for every lesson, accompanying differentiated worksheets, clip links with questions, plenaries, clear LOs, starters and engaging activities.

A Medical Ethics Unit lasting 12 hours (one lesson is a double) that was created for Year 9 RE, but could easily be used for a capable Year 8 or none-GCSE KS4 group.
Each lesson is very detailed, editable and differentiated three ways with colour-coded challenge tasks for every activity. The lessons are very easy to follow as all the instructions are on the PowerPoints and worksheets. Each of the individual lessons have had excellent reviews so far.
The unit includes:
What are the religious and ethical views on abortion? A lesson exploring the pro-choice and pro-life debate and introducing the concept of sanctity and quality of life.
What are the religious and ethical views on euthanasia? A lesson examining the quality vs sanctity of life debate in detail while examining types of euthanasia and religious views on these.
Stem Cell Research - an investigation into embryology and the controversial issues surrounding the science. The lesson investigates how scripture can be applied to these issues and why there is so much debate.
Capital Punishment and The Death Penalty - a two hour lesson which focuses on capital punishment, its legal status around the world, the moral and religious arguments for and against and the history of the death penalty.
Drugs and morality - a lesson exploring the moral and religious debate around drug use before examining religious quotes and practicing GCSE style exam questions.
Genetic Engineering - an overview lesson on test tube and designer babies as well as religious objections to the technology, with a focus on Christianity and Islam.

1 hour, fully resourced lesson which focuses on introducing Scientology as a new religious movement and examines criticisms, but also compares the validity of Scientology beliefs to Christian ones- as students will discover, they actually have quite a lot in common! A fully-resourced lesson which serves as an introduction to social justice. Students will explore the concept of social justice, its link to human rights and why it’s needed, before examining recent campaigns and the progress being made by the social justice movement. They will also explore objections to what some call ‘social justice warriors’ and whether social justice is backed up by religious ideas, by analysing quotes - the lesson has been created for RE, but would be useful as a Citizenship / interesting Drop Down Day session too.
A number of religions and religious quotes will be examined throughout the lesson, with the most detailed focus on Christianity, Islam and Judaism. Suitable for KS3 / KS4 and editable, so easy to adapt.

A two hour, fully-resourced PSHE lesson all about making responsible personal hygiene and health choices. This lesson covers vaccinations, blood and organ donation, stem cell research and personal hygiene. Students will investigate the importance of all of these factors for both preventing the spread of disease and treating illnesses in others. They will also exam the moral implications behind ideas such as stem cell research and learn a bit about the science behind these too (although this is not a science lesson, it is a PSHE lesson).
