A pack of seven detailed resources created especially for LGBT+ Month. These sessions each last around 30 mins each and are ideal for use in Tutor Time. The Home Learning book will last you another 2 hours. This pack serves as an introduction to the LGBT+ / LGBTQAI community, breaking down the acronyms, tackling issues like transphobia and homophobia and investigating why it is still a term which it isn’t always easy to define. Each of the six lessons focuses on and explores the definition, popular culture and identity of a different aspect of the LGBTQAI community, from Lesbians (L) to Intersex (I). The sessions each contain three challenge learning outcomes, slides of easy to digest information, a clip task with differentiated questions, a quiz and final reflection task. The sessions are all editable and been created to be perfect to just pick up and use. Note - these are 30 minute lessons. For full, hour long LGBT+ PSHE lessons, please see here. Online Privacy + Data PSHE

A new, 2024 lesson, all about our online privacy and protecting our data. Students will explore the concept of privacy and why it is an important Human Right. They will then investigate how they are unknowingly giving away their personal data online, whilst browsers and social media sites and stores can take this legitimately. Students will then discover how malicious actors can steal data easily and use it for nefarious purposes, whilst learning the best way to protect themselves, their data and their personal privacy. This lesson is taken from the new EC Publishing Complete PSHE Package which can be found at the EC Publishing website. The lesson includes creative tasks, match-up literacy-based tasks, analysis tasks, case studies, clip and discussion tasks and much more. Everything is editable and ready to go. This has been written to cover the 2020-24 PSHE guidance from the DfE and PSHE Association for Health and Wellbeing (focus on Mental Health).
