A pack of seven detailed resources created especially for LGBT+ Month. These sessions each last around 30 mins each and are ideal for use in Tutor Time. The Home Learning book will last you another 2 hours. This pack serves as an introduction to the LGBT+ / LGBTQAI community, breaking down the acronyms, tackling issues like transphobia and homophobia and investigating why it is still a term which it isn’t always easy to define. Each of the six lessons focuses on and explores the definition, popular culture and identity of a different aspect of the LGBTQAI community, from Lesbians (L) to Intersex (I). The sessions each contain three challenge learning outcomes, slides of easy to digest information, a clip task with differentiated questions, a quiz and final reflection task. Drop Down Day Pack - A set of 5 lessons to cover a Drop Down Day (5-6 hours total) introducing British Values to KS3 and KS4 The Drop Down Day was put together for Year 8 originally, but all the resources are editable and well-differentiated so it could be used with any year group KS4 / KS3 with a tweak or so. The Drop Down Day covers an introduction to British Democracy, how laws are made, British Identity, British Liberties, a history of British Democracy and Tolerance in modern Britain. A Diversity Drop Down Day Pack - A set of 6 lessons to cover a Citizenship / PSHE Drop Down Day (6 hours) which could be use with either KS3 or KS4 as an off time-table day for the end of term. All the resources are editable and well-differentiated so it could be used with any year group KS4 / KS3, with the option to tweak if you want to. The Drop Down Day celebrates diversity but also investigates opposition and bigotry, as well as exploring how to tackle this, head on.
