The 5-lesson unit includes the following: All about bodies (Year 1) This lesson introduces the correct terminology for private body parts and discusses what it means to keep our private parts private. My body belongs to me (Year 1) This lesson explores different kinds of physical contact including wanted and unwanted forms of touch.The students will be introduced to the swimwear unsafe touch safety rule and we will discuss the correct way to respond to an unsafe or unwanted touch. Asking for permission (Year 1) This lesson explores the concept of asking for permissions and the various scenarios where it is polite to do so. We will discuss consent in an age appropriate context (specifically asking permission before giving someone a hug or stroking a cat or dog.)
