(36 HOURS IN 20 DOWNLOADS) Our one-year of PSHE for KS5 pack is the next step for students after our Complete KS4 PSHE unit and delves into further detail on the PSHE Association’s recommended topics from their secondary 2020 guidance. The pack contains 36 hours’ worth of material (many of these lessons have been designed to last two hours).
This is a mix of Year 12 and Year 13 lessons.

There is a heavy focus on careers in this KS5 pack (see ten lesson careers unit included), but also on relatively new issues your students will have to tackle as young adults in an ever changing world - from extremist online subcultures and payday loans, to climate change, coercive relationships and safe clubbing and partying. This pack is tailored specifically for sixth-formers who are just taking their first steps towards being independent adults.
All lesson packs are complete with detailed, well-differentiated and easy to follow PowerPoints for every lesson, accompanying differentiated worksheets, clip links with questions, plenaries, clear LOs, starters and engaging activities.

General Election 2024 - Rishi Sunak and the Conservative Party - a lesson all about who the Conservative Party are, their values, their history, their leader, Rishi Sunak, and their current policies. The lesson also introduces the concept of one-nation-conservativism.
The lesson is written from an extremely neutral and factual standpoint and there is a Labour Party lesson equivalent here. This is perfect to cover two Citizenship lessons or a week of Tutor Time in the run up to the 2024 General Election.

A unit of 16 x 1 hour long, fully resourced life skills / PSHE lessons with a focus on independent living, this pack is particularly suited to KS4 and has been prepared to fit the PSHE Associations KS4 topic of ‘Living in the Wider World.’ This could easily be used for KS3 or ASDAN too and everything is editable, so you can always change it to suit your classes if you like.

A one hour - 90 min long lesson suitable for KS2 (or a low ability Year 7 group), all about the meaning of body image and what makes some people have a negative or positive body image. It is well differentiated with three-level challenges for each task, contains a variety of activities, an hour long PowerPoint, a clip with questions, a literacy focus task, new key-term introductions, reading aloud materials and creative tasks.
The lesson also encourages students to reflect on how the media and celebrities themselves edit their images before sharing them publicly and how we can help others to feel more body-positive. It is fully editable, engaging and very easy to follow.

Family and me KS1 PSHE lesson.
A one-hour long, very detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for KS1. This lesson has been created for Year 1, however, the activities are also suitable for students in Year 2, and could easily be adapted for use with older children.
In this lesson, the children will learn about positive features of family life including celebrations, holidays, and spending time together. We will discuss what makes our families unique and identify ways that we can get help if we are worried about something or someone at home.
We will read Stella Brings the Family by Miriam B. Schiffer and Holly Clifton-Brown, before completing an activity linked to the text. The lesson includes a case study starter, a story with accompanying questions, a ‘design an invitation’ main activity and a debate plenary task.
Created to fit the new DfE and PSHE Association statutory 2020 /21 guidelines, the lesson includes a detailed PowerPoint, all editable with accompanying tasks and worksheets.

Secrets EYFS PSHE lesson. A detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for EYFS/Reception age children. Created by our early years specialist, this lesson has been designed for use with children in Reception, however, the PowerPoint and activities could be adapted for use with other age groups.
In this lesson, the children will learn about secrets and what we should do if a secret ever makes us feel sad, angry, scared, or unhappy. We will discuss the difference between good secrets and bad secrets and how we can tell if it is okay to keep a secret.
The lesson includes a brief mindfulness starter activity (to ensure a swift start to the lesson), a story with accompanying questions, an adult-led focus task, an independent activity to be carried out during continuous provision, and a plenary task.

It focuses on the reasons surrounding the rise of extremism in the UK and globally, examining the different right wing groups and their ideologies.
