One hour, fully resourced lesson which introduces fracking and the arguments for and against it. It explains what fracking is in detail, allows students to investigate the pros and cons in both the long and short term. The lesson is adaptable, easy to follow and fully differentiated. It could be used by a KS3 or KS4 Citizenship or Geography. This resource pack includes an hour long PowerPoint with accompanying worksheets, case studies, well differentiated activities, literacy focus tasks, clip tasks with three-way differentiated questions and information sheets. The lesson has been left editable and is filled with engaging, well differentiated and fun activities. As with all our lessons, you don’t need any prior knowledge as all the information is included - you can just pick up and teach it. This free 9 page audit grid has been created to go alongside the free EC Resources PSHE and RSE planning pack, to show additional coverage of SMSC and British Values. It was created by a school using the document as part of their work to attain the SMSC Quality Mark and is shared with kind permission. The word document version has been left editable, however, so anyone can also use it, filling it in with their own coverage against the different standards.
