4 x 1 GCSE hour lessons covering a variety of focus issues from AQA Component 2 - Religion, Human Rights and Social Justice (theme F AQA). These are all editable and can easily be amended for any exam board. These lessons are focused on Christian and Islamic views. NEW SPEC RELIGIOUS STUDIES AQA KNOWLEDGE ORGANISERS 4 x AQA Component 1 (study of religions) ISLAM + CHRISTIANITY Revision Knowledge Organisers. For GCSE RS Component 1 (study of religions)- made for Spec A - AQA but easily amended. Covers all areas of Christianity and Islam (Beliefs, Teachings, Practices) for component 1. These can easily be printed out and given to students without even having to explain any of the terminology as all explanation is here for them. There are lots of quotes for students to study and remember, all highlighted in bold with exact Qur’an + Bible references. There is a section for students to complete on each organiser and RAG-rate as they study and test themselves, so they know what they need to come back to. They are all A3 size and would work great as a revision posters for a student’s wall at home. Drop Down Day / Off Timetable Day Pack - A set of 6 lessons to cover a Drop Down Day (6 hours) all about careers and enterprise. The Drop Down Day was put together for Year 10 originally, but all the resources are editable and well-differentiated so it could be used with any year group KS4 / KS3 with a tweak or so. The overall theme for the series of KS4 Drop Down Days was ‘Independent Living’, so this is just one in a series of six which ran throughout the year. This particular day was run just before the Year 10s went off for work experience, as we decided that this would be a great way to prepare them and convey the importance of focusing on their possible future employment opportunities. As 25% of Britains now class themselves as self-employed, two out of the six sessions also have a large focus on entrepreneurship and enterprise skills.
