Calming Down EYFS PSHE lesson. A detailed, fully resourced PSHE lesson suitable for EYFS/Reception age children. In this lesson, the children will recap the previous lesson’s learning on feelings and the faces that people often make when they are feeling happy, sad, angry, scared, or calm. We will then discuss how different emotions make us feel, paying particular attention to feelings that don’t feel nice like sadness, anger, and fear. We we discuss self-help techniques, with a particular focus on mindful breathing.
