World War I UNIT OF LESSONS: Extremely detailed and easy to follow - perfect for UKS3 (or could be used as pre GCSE prep / WW1 catch-up for KS4). A unit of well differentiated lessons on complete with new 9-1 level GCSE challenge questions, one full lesson on Remembrance Day (covering both WWs) and a Remembrance Day, WWI Quiz and 4x homeworks.

Black History Month / Rosa Parks - KS1 KS2 Primary
In this lesson, we will celebrate Black History by exploring the remarkable achievements of black women across the globe, with a focus on Rosa Parkes. Best suited to students from UKS1 (Year 2) to LKS2 (Years 3 - 4), this engaging and editable lesson provides a gentle and age-appropriate introduction to the concepts of fairness, equality, discrimination and injustice.
The lesson begins with an interactive starter, introducing four notable black women, and then delves into an exploration of Rosa Parks’ life and contributions in the main section. Through age-appropriate content, students will learn about fairness, empathy, and the significance of treating everyone equally as they delve into Rosa Parks’ pivotal role in the civil rights movement.
This lesson aims to honour the achievements of black women, celebrate their valuable contributions, and encourage discussions about equality and justice.
A bundle which can be used for form time or history lessons consisting of a Remembrance Day full lesson, a causes of World War I full lesson, a Remembrance Quiz and a full lesson on the Homefront and Britain during the war years.
All are fully resources, well differentiated with worksheets, clips, activities and Powerpoints.

Black History Month Quiz: A fun quiz, perfect for form time on current and past black icons and history. Easy to use, just opens in powerpoint and all you need to do is click on the answers, which are revealed to be correct or incorrect. Lasts around 20 minutes.
A fun quiz, designed for form time, lasting around 15 minutes that can be used in Remembrance week. The linked clips from Blackadder are optional, they are short two minute videos designed to compliment the answers to the questions.
Safer Internet Day resource pack - suitable for upper KS2 or lower KS3. The pack includes a PowerPoint full of information as well as activities, a scavenger hunt, literacy and clip tasks and measurable LOs. It is designed to last an hour and everything is editable, well-differentiated and all information included, so you can just pick it up and go.

Black History Month resource pack - an assembly, a quiz and 3 hours (more just added!) of lessons which could be used over PSHCE, Tutor Time or Drop Down Days - two giving an overview of Black history up until the present day and one focusing on the famous speech of Martin Luther King.
