This quiz is a whirlwind tour through the curriculum, perfect for a bit of a start of term warm-up, or end of end term wind-down. The quiz is light-hearted and amusing, multiple choice, interactive and focused on all areas of the KS3 curriculum.

All answers are included, there is a score sheet (last page of PowerPoint), and the quiz lasts up to 45 mins. It can either be played having the answers revealed as you go along, or the board can be paused and the answers read out at the end (you can play either in teams or individually).

A fun and creative history project lesson for students in the last week of term. Could be used for activities week in Humanities or just as a reward lesson the last time you see your class for the summer.
Very easy to set up - you will just need a few balloons, string, sellotape, felt tips and a bag of old clothes. The students work in small groups to research and recreate a famous historical figure (info sheets and clip tasks included - all instructions on Powerpoint). The lesson can last as long as you want it to, and I gave prizes of sweets at the end for the best one - but that’s optional! My students really enjoyed it and we took pictures at the end for the school website.

For Christmas / End of term or any time! No ordinary Maths Quiz! This is a fun numerical general knowledge quiz with, of course, some proper head-scratcher maths questions thrown in. There are a mix of easy and difficult questions, many are rounds where you’ll have to do some proper calculations, yet many are based around current affairs and pop-culture where you have a good chance of gaining points if your answer is nearest to the number on the answer sheet.
This is suitable for KS3 or KS4 and perfect for the last maths lesson of term.
This quiz is not for GCSE revision, it’s just a bit of fun for the end of term or last day, to keep your students happy whilst still relating your last lesson to your subject!
Israel - Palestine Conflict - this lessons covers the origins of the troubles in the Middle East.
This is an hour long, fully resourced lesson with Powerpoint, differentiated tasks throughout, worksheets, clip link and accompanying task all about the history and origins of the Palestinian conflict. There is a debate focus on who is to blame and who does the land rightfully belong to, with a 20 min assessment task at the end complete with all materials to mark and feedback.

A differentiated and editable history lesson all about The Stolen Generations, what it was like for native Australians at the time of British rule and whether or not an apology from a later Prime Minister is really ever going to be enough to make up for the travesties forced onto the Aboriginal people.

The lesson focuses on the story of the Ice Man and how he died and came to be buried and preserved he was.
Students will use evidence to create a detailed profile of the Ice Man’s last days and explore the artifacts he left behind and the clues left for historians to decipher.
History Skills - Pompeii. A detailed and well differentiated, editable history skills lesson with a focus on the importance of using evidence.
