Nouns Presentation

A presentation on nouns. Designed to be delivered to a class of primary aged children. The presentation roughly follows this structure: Defining nouns Examples of nouns Introducing different types of nouns Defining different types of nouns with examples Talking activity Written activity Examples are interwoven throughout the presentation. Colour is used to provide a visual element to aid memory. Two tasks at the end of the presentation designed to consolidate knowledge. This presentation works well in conjunction with another resource ‘noun worksheet pack’. Without the tasks, the presentation would take approximately 5-10 minutes. Including the tasks, the presentation would take approximately 15 - 20 minutes.

Adjectives Whole Lesson

This bundle contains two resources that comprise a whole English lesson on adjectives. There is a detailed but simple presentation introducing students to adjectives with definitions, frequency examples given, information on how to use adjectives in their writing, and some whole class discussion activities at the end. The presentation is designed to be delivered at the start of the lesson. Following the presentation, students can solidify and consolidate what they have learnt by accessing the adjectives worksheet pack which contains four different worksheets. A reading task where students can underline/highlight adjectives within a text a fill-in the gap task where students can complete the sentences by adding their own adjectives. a matching task where students can match the image to the most appropriate adjective. A creative task where students can come up with their own adjectives to describe a given thing. Together these resources comprise a whole lesson with a range of different activities and skills involved.

This resource is a small pack of four worksheets about adjectives. Each worksheet is designed to give children a chance to use adjectives, write adjectives, and come up with their own adjectives. The four worksheets are designed as follows: A fill-in the blank worksheet where students can write an adjective of their choice at the correct place in the sentence. A reading exercise where students can read a passage of text and circle every adjective they can find. A matching exercise where students can draw a line between an image to the most appropriate corresponding adjective. A creative exercise where students are given a series of images and asked to write 3 adjectives that they could use to describe each image. These worksheets look to incorporate both reading and writing into helping students to learn and develop their adjectives. The worksheets would be best used in conjunction with a teaching resource on adjectives such as the adjectives presentation, also available.

A lesson designed to teach children of a primary age about adjectives. The lesson takes the form of a highly interactive presentation to be worked through in class. Throughout the lesson students are encouraged to take an active part in their learning through questions, short and long tasks, and activities. The presentation is broken down into small increments as to not overwhelm children with too much information at once. The structure is as follows: Defining adjective Examples of adjectives How adjectives are used in a sentence Why adjectives are used Different ways adjectives can be used More worked example of using adjectives Three short application activities at the end. Examples are used throughout. All examples include relatable content. Colour used to provide some visual aids.

A bundle of presentations (PDF) covering content and specific factual detail for the AQA A Level History course on Germany between 1871 - 1991. The presentations are largely organised into four sections including: political events and details, economic events and details, societal events and details, and foreign relationships. There are also some presentations that focus on particular governments or periods, for example the Nazi regime, or Germany under Bismarck etc. The resources would be a great way to teach students the content in the classrooms but they would also make excellent resources for students own revision and study, as they provide a lot of key information all together.

A Level Music Set Works

A bundle of PDF documents containing information for each A Level Set Work, as examined in 2018, for Edexcel. The documents go through background and contextual information for the composer and piece plus detailed information about the pieces themselves included bar numbers. For each piece, there is a detailed overview that goes through key points about the piece chronologically, followed by a summary section providing information about the melody, harmony, tempo, texture, structure, tonality, instrumentation, timbre etc for. The resource would be a revision resource for students, but it could also be used for teaching - as a way of delivering the key information needed for students to have a good understanding of each piece.

Two resources that work well in tandem with each other. The first resource contains a selection of quick-fire quiz questions on the topics: the digestive system, enzymes, cells, sampling living things, and diffusion. The second contains exam questions on the same topics. Both resources could be used as revision resources for consolidating knowledge, refreshing knowledge, or highlighting areas of strengths and weakness, or they could be used as end of lesson activities to help process taught information. Resources are useful for exam preparation by practicing both knowledge recall and exam technique.

A selection of practise exam questions for GCSE Biology. The exam questions are developed based on past papers. Questions test knowledge on the following topics: the digestive system, enzymes, types of cells, sampling living things, and diffusion. They include a range of command words and tasks to suit the varied nature of exam paper question styles. Individual questions from the sheet could be used at the end of a taught lesson to consolidate student knowledge, or the whole sheet could be distributed to students to aid their exam practice. Students could peer mark exam questions to encourage collaborative learning. This resource prepares students for the range of questions they may be asked in the exam by allowing them to practice exam technique, as well as acting as a refresher of knowledge. The resource could be used to highlight strengths and weaknesses in student’s exam technique or knowledge.

This resource provides a comprehensive overview to some key areas of biopsychology, specifically the aspects of biopsychology required for A Level Psychology with AQA.
