Easter Egg Subitising Game - Nine or not nine? This is a simple IWB maths game that develops early perceptual and conceptual subitising skills with amounts to nine. Each slide presents different arrangements of nine Easter eggs. Children decide whether the arrangement shows nine or NOT nine eggs by clicking on the appropriate answer card. This fully interactive game is 28 slides in length and easily editable to show other arrangements of eggs (show numbers patterns as you wish using two colours 5 + 4 = 9 OR using 3 colours for example, 4 + 4 + 1 = 9). Easter Chicks Subitising Seven or NOT 7 is a simple interactive whiteboard game to develop early perceptual and conceptual subitising skills. Children are presented with varying arrangements of Easter chicks. Ask: How many can you see? How do you see it? Children identify whether there are 7 chicks or NOT seven by clicking on the correct answer card i.e., 7 or not seven. For example, I can see that 3 and 4 make seven etc… The game is 27 slides in length and fully editable to create other amounts. Children can pair up with a partner to play the game during continuous provision by holding up 7 fingers or not. Their partner identifies whether they are showing 7 or not. Children can arrange easter chicks in as many different patterns as possible. Ask: How many different ways can we make 7?
