AQA paper 1 questions 1-4
Would be ok with GCSE classes but it does reference drugs and alcohol. I have used this with college students and adult classes.
Based around articles of PT Barnham this lesson was made based on others I have seen and to help with issues in our college community. It looks at two articles and asked the students to write a question 5 answer - letter

This looks at how the sun newspaper could be responsible for celebrities ending their lives or have a role to play in it. It looks at BRIAN CATHCARTs’ writing. I have used this with low ability students so it is scaffolded and only uses one text for the summary rather than two.
Template to help students write articles gives guidance on adding elements of DAFORREST and other aspects of article writing.

AQA narrative lesson based around the TV and book series ‘The 100’

I have used this near the end of the GCSE resit course so there is less support than in some of my other lessons on here. I have also added a 200 word descriptive challenge
Using an extract from ‘The Bone Clock’ I have looked at question 1 and question 3. The starter task sheet is included and there are timer on the slides. I have added some suggestions for discussion and how I would deliver this session in the notes.
