Used for trilogy foundation students but would work for a quick revision of main ideas for triple students. Covers both the atmosphere unit and the using resources unit in chemistry.
A lesson I created for year 7’s but can be used throughout GCSE. The list of adaptations needs to be printed and cut out. There are two levels of demand for the list of adaptations - I printed these on 2 different colours of paper (pink and blue). The adaptations need to be placed around the room and students need to match them up to the polar bear, cactus, or camel.
A worksheet scaffolded to increase in difficulty from using values, using values with units, rearranging and then using exam style written questions. Has a large section on E = QV and a small section on Q = It

Glossary match-up activities and answers for students to complete for each unit. Units have been slightly changed, split up etc. I have uploaded in my shop (free) the specification of the altered units along with prior knowledge and common misconception checks.
Includes the difference between series and parallel circuits and has an activity to match up the symbols with names and definitions. Can be used from high ability year 7s all the way to year 11 GCSE.
A broadsheet that is useful for revision of the homeostasis unit. This doesn’t include human reproductive hormones as I teach this when I do reproduction and contraception.
An intervention lesson based around data in science questions that students have struggled with. Lasts an hour. Questions taken from AQA spec and printed as a booklet.
A complete lesson that includes a card sort or cut and stick activity for students to compare advantages and disadvantages of the different 2D and 3D models of chemical structures.
eleanorvickers has a worksheet that can be used in the lesson, however I have changed the 3D model to the models in the AQA specification so new version included.
A document to try and ease the issues with moving rooms with tutor groups or not having a tutor base to create a tutor board in due to COVID-19.
The first page has links to each page in the document and can be edited for your own school (for example my school uses “RTP” for the weekly equipment check but your school may use another term).
Each page has a link back to the main page so that more than one activity can be done in one tutor time. More pages can be added depending on school needs.
