As we continue to study Cirque du Freak by Darren Shan, we use Chapter Seventeen as a stimulus for improving our use of punctuation. Comparing Poppies and War Photographer isn’t an easy task, but this fully differentiated and resourced lesson looks at these two Power and Conflict poems: Poppies by Jane Weir and War Photographer by Carol Ann Duffy.
