This is from a series of posters I made for revision of the characters in Macbeth. They each display quotes that would be useful to revise for the GCSE exam. This one features Lady Macbeth.
I printed some out in A4 for my students but they look pretty good in A3 as eye-catching wall displays. Similarly, you could reduce them to A5 and provide them as revision booklets.
I will be uploading Macbeth, Banquo, King Duncan, Macduff and The Witches so please look for those if you wish to have the complete set.
Other sets available or coming soon: Frankenstein; Blood Brothers; An Inspector Calls; Romeo and Juliet.
Please get in touch if there is a series of characters and quotes which you would like me to make. As long as it will sell on here, I am happy to put the time in to making them.
This is from a series of posters I made for revision of the characters in The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. They each display quotes that would be useful to revise for the GCSE exam. This one is of Mr Utterson.

This is from a series of posters I made for revision of the characters in Willy Russell’s Blood Brothers. They each display quotes that would be useful to revise for the GCSE exam. This is poster is of Sammy Johnstone - Mickey’s elder brother.
These can be printed out in dinky A5 for revision booklets, A4 for ordinary class use or in A3 for wall displays.
The following characters are also available, so please look if you require a full set:
Mrs Johnstone; Mrs Lyons, Mickey Johnstone; Edward Lyons; Linda.
(The Narrator will be coming soon)
There are seven characters featured in this bundle: Dean; Jordan; Julius; Killa; Poppy; The Dead Boy; The Pigeon.
Each poster features multiple relevant quotations linked to character traits. These traits serve as the ‘point’ in a PEE/PEAS/PETER style response.
The posters work equally well in A3 and A4 and you could even miniaturise them further to serve as individual GCSE revision sources.
The posters can be bought individually on TES but this bundle will allow you to save £4. Another bundle (Bundle ‘A’) is also available, featuring Harrison, Lydia, Mamma, Miquita, X-Fire, and Auntie Sonia.
Apologies for needing two bundles but TES won’t allow all thirteen resources in one. The only other option is to contact me privately but I’m not sure TES allows that. Feel free to look for my Insta.
This is from series of posters I made for revision of the characters in Pigeon English by Stephen Kelman. They each display quotes and comments that would be useful to revise for the GCSE exam. This poster is of Harrison’s schoolfriend and fellow detective, Dean Griffin.

Other characters available are Harrison, Lydia, Miquita, Mamma, X-Fire, Julius, the Dead Boy, Jordan, Auntie Sonia, and the Pigeon.
Bundles are available, so save yourself some money if you want the full set.

While Romeo & Juliet and Macbeth are some of my best sellers, they were, surprisingly, the only Shakespeare bundles in my shop. But not for long! This year I have completed my series of Twelfth Night characters, with eight posters available in total.
For display, these print well as A3, while A4 are ideal for general class use. Students could be asked to expand on each quote, linking it to given themes in the play, or to say why that quote or trait is significant. The posters also serve as inspiration for students to create their own for other characters. If printed in A5, the full series of posters can make up a handy little revision guide for individual students.
Sir Toby Belch is also currently available, along with Sebastian, Sir Andrew Aguecheek, Viola, Malvolio, Antonio, and Orsino.
Please note that I’m having issues with pdfs not uploading properly. If your pdf does not open properly, you can email me at wezcartoons@gmail.com and I will send the file direct to you.

This is from a series of posters I made for revision of the characters in George Orwell’s Animal Farm. They each display quotes and comments that would be useful to revise for the GCSE English Literature exam. This poster is of Mollie. The people represented by the character of Mollie are also visible in the background, to remind students that Mollie is an allegory for the White Russians, the bourgeois middle class. I have done this for each of the characters in this particular series.

This poster is of Snowball, with the image in the background serving as a reminder of who he represents: Trotsky. I have included reminders of Orwell’s analogy in all of the posters in this series.
These turn out well regardless of the size in which they are printed. A5 are useful as individual booklets for students, while A4 seem the best for general class use. If using for display, they look great in A3.
Teachers have used these posters in a number of different ways. It can be really effective to ask students to make links between each trait or quote and a given theme of the novel. Explaining what is significant about the quotes and comments in the poster means they practise expanding on their answers and gain a deeper understanding of what the writer has intended. They’ve also been used to inspire students to make their own posters for other characters and/or other texts.
