This pack contains 13 games that cover each of the sets as in the Letters and Sounds document. How to use: Print and cut out and picture cards for the game you wish to play. Place the cards in a bag, or turn upside down. Each pupil in the group take a turn to pick a card. If they can find the carrot with the word on their recording sheet they can colour it in. Can be used as adult led or an independent activity

How to play: Player who rolls the highest number goes first. Take turns rolling the dice. Move your counter up the ladder and read the word you land on. If you can read the word you land on you can stay. If you can’t go back to your previous word. Ideally use a 1-3 dice.

This park contains Christmas Tree Bingo Boards for the Phase 2 sets 1-5 and Phase 3 sets 1-7. Pick a bauble card from a bag or pile. If the word that matches the picture on the bauble in on the board cover it with a counter or pompoms. Instead of using fingers these could be placed with tweezers.

A fun ocean themed activity perfect for practicing spelling Phase 2 Words. Included are two versions: Sea of Words - Activity A colourful activity where the children catch a fish and use them to spell a word on their Ocean board. Can be used as a continuous provision activity or as a group activity during phonics. The fish could even be used with a magnetic fishing rod by attaching paper clips. A rainbow fish version is also included for longer words. Sea of Words -Cut and Stick Version A black and white cut and stick version where the children cut out the fish and use them to spell a word on their sheet. These are designed to be used as cut and stick activity. Ideal to send home or use in the classroom. Phase 2 Fruity Phonics - Interactive Display Version This pack has a tree for each of the Phase 2 sounds and a set of five oranges with pictures that contains the Phase 2 sounds. These are designed to be used interactive display or a table top where children can attach oranges to the correct tree. Ideally enlarge to A3 and laminate for durability. Use Velcro to attach the oranges to the trees.
