This pack covers all the Phase 5 sounds, words and Tricky Words. There are separate sections for sounds, words and Tricky Words Either label cars with the words or sounds for a matching activity or sound out the word or say the sound and players park their car in the correct bay. Alternative use the word boards and players park their car in the bay that rhymes with the word you say.

The idea is that the coloured puzzle piece are sorted by the pictures which has that sound in the word. They then make the sound when put together either using the black and white base or without to make it challenging. Some sounds have word puzzles (_s_, P__l) and may have the same pictures on both letters for that sound.

A board type games that involves crossing the river using the stepping stones. There are two types of boards - picture and sounds. Picture board can be used to write the Phase 3 sound, sound board can be used to say the sound. Ideally play in pairs with a 1-3 dice. A fun alternative to quick write and flashcards at the start of your phonic sessions.

These games have no prep at all, just print and play. Players start anywhere on the outside board. Roll the dice and move that many spaces, then work out which sound is in the picture. Colour the correct sound in the players chosen colour. Either play until all the sounds are coloured or until one player gets five in a row. Single player can try to get five in a row.
