Created as I couldn’t find a mat that had everything I wanted on one mat. This pack Phase 2/3 mats with sounds and pictures as well as lower and upper case letters. It also includes three different font versions: Sassoon Infant, CCW Writing and Dyslexie. The Sassoon Infant and CCW have two versions; one with the HFWs and then the Tricky Words and another where they are in alphabetical order, in colour coded boxes with Tricky Words in bold. The Dyslexie version is slightly different and has a sound mat for Phase 2 and Phase 5 separate and a word mat for each phase including Phase 4 for the HFWs and Tricky Words which can be printed/photocopied on to the back of the sound mats. Includes Phase 2 and 3 sounds, capital letters where appropriate and high frequency words for Phases.

This is played in the same way as snakes and ladders only you follow the direction on the mouse when you land on that square. There are 26 boards in total and are organised in sets following Letters and Sounds. Each set has a sound board and word boards that contain words that have the sound in that set and previous sets. There is also a tricky words board.

This is not editable as images need to be secure as per the terms of the clipart licences from TpT which are for commercial use. Has a page where you can click on the sound and it will take you to the section with an alien named after each sound You will need to click the alien will appear, click again and his speech bubble with name will appear and a final click reveals the sound buttons. Ideal for practicing pseudo words for the Year 1 Phonics Screening

A fun visual game that can be played in small groups, pairs or individually. There are four boards in total. Each board has it own set of word cards. Players pick a word card from a box or similar or turn a card over. They then read the word and find the picture of that word. Once they find it they can put a counter or similar onto it. If playing with more than one players, then each player will need their own set of coloured counters. Could also be used in connect 4 type games.

Either call out the sounds and children put a counter on the picture matching that sound or play it as I spy and children tell you what picture starts with that sound and if they are correct they put a counter on it. Could also be played in pairs. 4 picture boards and a set of sounds

Flashcards with words lists on the reverse. Word lists taken from Letters and Sounds. Just print the word list on the back of the picture page. Cut along the dotted lines and words will be on the reverse. Laminate before or after cutting depending on preference
