These follow the order according to the Word Time! in the Speed Sounds book. The word lotto has additional words that are not included in the Word Time! lists to allowed challenge and extra practice . There is a board game for each set of sounds and 2 word lotto boards for Word Time! 2- 6. Word Time! 7 has 4 board and Word Time! 1 has just a single board. A great alternative to flashcards.

There is a book from each vowel diagraph. Whole book is in in black and grey to save on colour ink when mass copying or printing. There is a PDF for each book so saves scrolled through trying to find the one you need. Activities Super Searcher (page 2) - find 10 given words that contain the sound Match it (page 3) - read the word and match it to the correct picture Read It Write It (pages 4 &5) - mini board game where if they land on a word they read it. Land on a picture they write the word. Monster Mayhem (page 6) - jumbled up words for the sound Sort, Write and Draw (page 7) - jumbled sentence that contain one or more words with the sound. A bit different to the normal matching that is available elsewhere, as there is for each sound approx 2 - 6 pictures and sentences for each phase 5 sound . The sentence in some cases are also a bit silly i.e A lime with a smile... A hive with a smile. I've only change 1 or 2 words in each sentence so makes the children read for comprehension. Can also use the pictures for sentence writing, or read the sentences and draw the picture to go with it. 105 sentences and matching pictures in total.

Instead of using fingers these could be placed with tweezers. Perfect activity to practice reading words in the festive period.
