Extension Writing Tasks
A selection of short tasks (mostly writing-based) which are great for use as extension tasks. I printed them off, cut them up and let the pupils choose at random which ones they will complete.
Example: In your jotter, write a description of your favourite place. You should use the 5 senses to help you describe this place - sight, sound, touch, taste, and smell."

A PowerPoint with quotes arranged by subject designed to support Nation 5 pupils this year. Each category has a quotation from Glasgow 5th March 1971 (since that's this year's poem) and two quotations from another poem.

Great for a wee bit of fun in the run up to December. I used it with S1 but could easily be adapted for other levels.

Short guides on how to answer own words, word choice, sentence structure and imagery questions in RUAE. Designed for use with National 5 classes but can be adapted for use with other levels.
