This could be used as a starter or a plenary for students to describe the difference between a need, want, scarcity, the economic problem and factors of production. Students could either stick the table in their books and number the right answers, or individually pair the right answers. Enjoy!

These could be cut out and students have to sort them out into the correct categories, or move them around and get students to order them into the correct column. Could be used as either starter, plenary, or incorporated before a main activity.

Leadership styles video and activity sheet. Students are to first watch the Youtube video that explains each of the leadership styles (laissez-faire, democratic and autocratic). After this, students are to then complete the five questions that explore the definitions of each of the terms and the advantages and disadvantages of the various leadership styles.

This is a fun, interactive, easy to teach lesson focused around the ‘business lifecycle’. Included: Lesson plan (with a range of extra ideas to build upon learning depending on lesson length). Activity focused around key non-financial motivational techniques (job rotation, job enlargement etc). Students need to match each scenario with the correct method, cut them out and glue them into their books. This could be scaffolded further with asking students to describe each of the key terms or provide their own definitions after completing the activity.

Worksheet featuring on-the-job and off-the-job training methods. It also have questions relating to induction training. The worksheet is leveled (green and orange chilli’s) so students can choose questions that are aimed at their level. This could also be printed on A3 and you could get students to work collaboratively to answer the questions.

Activity focused on the marketing mix and the four P’s (product, place, promotion, and price) I would recommend printing on A3 so students can complete in detail and work collaboratively sharing ideas. Perfect for any business studies marketing topic.
