Business Activity - Importance of specialisation • Purpose of business activity • The concept of adding value and how added value can be increased Included: Presentation getting students to think about and discuss specialisation, division of labour and the concept of adding value. Extra resources with questions included on PPT to encourage students to discuss ideas, alongside starter activity re-capping over the previous topic and a worksheet exploring the advantages and disadvantages of the division of labour. Idea’s included on how to stretch and challenge students included in the notes section of PPT. Assessment (questions relating to specialisation, opportunity cost, business activity etc). I would recommend stapling lined paper to the back for students to answer the questions, or getting them to complete them in their books.
