Lesson 2-3: Composition grids for students to compose their own ‘Balungan’ using the rules of ratio.
Also included Gamelan VCOP mat for extended writing and evaluation, information and questions on Gamelan music (ideal for cover and differentiated with same text and different types of questions).
A lesson and homework based on unfamiliar listening and examination technique. There is also an example of a 10 mark extended answer with plan for each musical element to help students pinpoint what to write about.
All sections of the lesson have differentiated success criteria, as does the homework task.

The final lesson asks students to react to feedback for either the Baroque or Classical style they have composed. A pack of 3 sheets which describe each section of the Eduqas GCSE Set Work Eine Kleine Nachtmusik. All features of the set works are included so students can annotate their scores. There is also a short test (with answers) to be completed after each sheet is completed so you can test their understanding.
Each sheet has graded success criteria. These sheets can work well for revision, flip learning or homework activities.

Students can then check their answers on the PowerPoint which contains sample annotations for each extract. They are colour coded.
