A music activity to help children to learn to play the different notes on an ocarina.
Each slide shows a different note and explains how to play that note. The notes have all been given names beginning with the note letter to help children to remember them. The final slide shows children how to play the first line of Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star using the Ladybird Ocarina notes.
There is also an Ocarina Notes Poster showing all of the notes alongside their name and their note. Children can use the poster to practise the different notes in order.
Children of all ages and abilities can learn to play the ocarina and have great fun making music.

Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star
A music activity to help children to learn to play Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star on the ocarina. The children first practise playing the different notes with each note having a name to help children to remember them. Children then practise playing the first line of the song on their ocarina, then the first two lines followed by playing the next two lines and then playing the whole song.
Aimed at Early Years and Key Stage 1
A complete Maths lesson for introducing teen numbers in a step by step manner. During the main input children practise making teen numbers and can practise writing the number sentences to make teen numbers. Children then have to identify teen numbers - this encourages children to explain their thinking.
This Maths lesson includes three differentiated teen number worksheets and a plenary.
Aimed at Early Years and Year 1 children however could also be used as a booster or recap for Year 2 children.

There is a space on the sentence writing page for children to draw a picture to match their sentence. A fun phonics activity workbook covering vowel digraphs and trigraphs.
Each new ‘special friend’ sound has three workbook pages - one to practise writing real words, one to identify alien words and one to complete a sentence using the focus sound in a word. There is a space on the sentence writing page for children to draw a picture to match their sentence.
This activity workbook could be completed as part of a group, independently or could be sent home as home learning/homework. I have also used this workbook as Early Morning Work for children to practise their phonics. The workbook supports children to become more confident with each focus sound and as the activities are repeated for each new sound the children can become more independent when completing the workbook.

Capital Letters Activity
An English activity focusing on capital letters, when to use them and what they look like.
The PowerPoint shows the children all capital letters and the children then practise writing the capital letters. Children then write the capital letter to match the lower case letter. The Capital Letter Monster then eats some of the capital letters from the alphabet and children have to identify which letters have been eaten and write the capital letters on their whiteboards. Children are then shown sentences with missing capital letters and have to fill in the missing letters. The children will enjoy the fun element of having a monster eating the capital letters and I have used this in class when children have forgotten capital letters in their written work.

A presentation aimed at Early Years and Key Stage 1 children about being a superhero and spreading happiness and smiles.
The presentation explains that we all have a superpower and that superpower is making people smile. The presentation asks children to think about how they can make people smile and provides some ideas for how we can spread happiness. The presentation could be used as an assembly or during a PSHE discussion or lesson.
The children will enjoy believing that they are a superhero and using their superpowers.

Making 5 and 10 Activity Worksheets
Two sets of 8 different Maths activity worksheets to practise making 5 and 10 covering bar models, part whole models, adding using objects and word problems. These sheets focus solely on number bonds to 5 or to 10. They also give children the opportunity to practise recording number sentences. I have used these as worksheets during Maths lessons plus have also laminated the different sheets for children to use during choosing time or early work.

Introducing Money
A complete Maths lesson for introducing money and coins. The lesson covers the different coins and their value using pennies. There is an activity for swapping coins for a single coin to demonstrate that different coins can be used to make up different amounts and shows children that we need to add the amounts together and not simply count the coins. The lesson includes three differentiated money worksheets and a short plenary.
Money Activity Cards
A set of money activity cards covering coins only.
The cards are split into three sets - cards showing one dot work with coins up to 5p and values below 10p, cards showing two dots work with coins up to 10p and values below 20p and cards showing three dots work with coins up to 20p and values below 30p.
There are four activities in each set -

Activity 3 - how much money is in the purse?
Activity 4 - can you put the correct amount of money in the purse?
