Then I taught Pre-K for 5 years, before I went up to Middle School, where I have been in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. Last year, I went back to 1st grade in a private setting. I have traveled worldwide and am also fluent in Spanish.

Reading Standards Goal Sheet. In order to meet standards, students are expected to do more independent reading. This 2 page hand-out is very specific about what students must do daily in order to meet state standards in reading. Research suggests middle schoolers should read 25 books or a million words per year. In this debate lesson, students will debate a variety of topics. The PowerPoint will walk you and your class through each step of the process.
