The students will write about how they would feel if they were placed in quarantine or isolation for two months. In a situation similar to the Franks, they would not have human contact. Even though they would not be in hiding like the Franks, they would be forced to think about how they would feel to be isolated. Flowers for Algernon Vocabulary Study List. 30 vocabulary words from the short story Flowers for Algernon. This list is provided in two columns, which can easily be cut apart and distributed to students to look up definitions. Included also is a KEY with the definitions already included. All About Me Book - Beginning of the Year Writing Unit. Writing center activities. Gives students a chance to build a book about themselves, with writing prompts to encourage students to think. The pages can be completed as a class project, or individually whenever a child has finished other work and has free time. Supports common core state standards.
