Inbuilt self-checking for pupils as the letters corresponding to the answers are revealed to spell words in a sentence.
This resource is perfect as a main task, extension or challenge activity. It meets the Year 4 National Curriculum objective to round any number to the nearest 10, 100 or 1,000. It is suitable for learning about rounding in KS2 or for the revision of rounding in KS3.

Differentiated word problems for division questions involving rounding. Pupils must decide from the context of the question whether to round their answers up or down once the division calculation has been completed in order to provide the correct answer.
This resource contains three worksheets differentiated for three levels of difficulty: mild, spicy and hot. Hot level problems are multi-step problems.
The answers to all questions are provided in a separate document. Perfect for sharing in class or uploading for remote learning.
