GCSE Biology revision sheets - 14 in total, aimed at Higher Tier/Triple students. These can be printed individually as A4 /A3 sheets to be used in various lessons as starters, plenaries or home works. I used these with my Triple group as revision tools. The students loved them and many used them as part of their revision. Subjects covered are : Heart, Heart disease, circulatory system, blood, blood groups, kidneys, growth, menstrual cycle, fertility (pill, etc), organ donation, the skeleton, ECG, respiratory system, and respiratory functions and graphs. Theses 2 resources contain 7 sheets in total which include a help sheet, task sheet, fill in the gaps worksheet, pictures for students to use with their notes, and the need to find extra information. These sheets consolidate the lesson taught and all of the key facts covered. These would be excellent as mini tests, home works or just for revision purposes before the exam. These work sheets go in combination with my ppt resource on SA:V ratios and the ppt on gaseous exchange. You could use them in combination with them.

This power point was made for my double award/foundation students to try and explain as concisely as possible about drug testing procedures and why they are important. It starts by telling the story of thalidomide and then goes into why it led to better testing conditions, what they are and the procedures for human testing, using placebos and blind trials. The slides cover variation, interspecific, intraspecific, mean, normal distribution, standard deviation, spearman's rank and critical values. Slides cover all areas of the syllabus, including graphs and how to calculate mean, SD and spearman's rank. Each slide shows the students how to present data and how to work out each stage. It finishes with exam technique of how to evaluate data and what the exam board is looking for. Last slide is a question for the students to attempt.

This is a 26 slide power point covering the New AQA specification for exams from 2018 onwards. It covers all of the 4.1 Cell Biology specification (4.1.1.1 to 4.1.1.5) I have covered eukaryotes, prokaryotes, animal cells, plant cells, specialised cells, cell differentiation, and microscopy. I have explained about magnification calculations and have covered all aspects of this stage of the specification. Label an animal and plant cell work sheet. Assessment sheet for cells. This was made for my students covering the triple biology. New AQA Biology B6.1 to 6.6 suitable for separates and combined (don't do the last 2 sections). These power points can be used as individual lessons or put together for revision sessions. There is also a B6 checklist to help students assess progression from start to finish.

New GCSE Biology separates power points covering all of B5.1 to B5.11. Would also be good for combined students but just do not do the extra sections. B5.8 to B5.11 is included at the end of the power point B5.5 to 5.7 (just check specification and it will all make sense).
