This can be taught as a masterclass to the Most Able at Year 11, or as general contextual background for an early modern A Level text. There is a separate lesson on exam practice with lots of exam-style questions. The lessons were planned for doubles, but can easily be adapted to singles. There is a good ten weeks of teaching here, depending on timetabling.
