Quiz to revise key quotations. Students find quotations to demonstrate Eric's relationship with other major characters, e.g Sheila, Mrs Birling etc. Quotations then animate on the board as examples. Students consider Eric's best and worst qualities. This is a great revision tool for students to recap Eric and his relationships. Please note, the lesson refers to page numbers from 'An Inspector Calls and Other Plays' Penguin Modern Classics. Students complete a 'Silent Debate' in response to a thought provoking statement about the play. The lesson includes several statements for students to debate, alongside examples of work. Students then use the debate work to write up an essay.
