I created this resource using boxes to aid understanding of dividing in a ratio. I have used this with classes in year 7 and 8 and a GCSE Foundation class.

I used this resource with my year 10 set 2. It includes 10 starter questions using a calculator to work out the trig ratio and angles. The lessons introduce the Sine, Cosine and Tangent ratio one at a time with examples and 6 questions and answers for each. The final 6 questions are mixed with answers. It moves on to calculating the missing angles and includes some worded problems also.

This is created in Excel on 3 separate differentiated sheets. The answers are calculated using a formula. Suitable for KS3 and KS4 (Foundation) Can be used as an individual worksheet, Rally Coach or for peer assessment.
