Kagan Cooperative learning rally coach. Pupil A explains to Pupil B how to solve the problem whilst pupil B listens. Pupil B praises if correct and coaches if necessary. Kagan Rally coach involves 2 pupils working together to explain to each other in turn how to solve the problem . Pupil A explains and Pupil B listens, praises or coaches as necessary. They then swap. I have also used this resource as a plenary to peer assess.

I created this resource to use with a higher year 8 class and a middle year 9 maths class.

Differentiated worksheets - Kagan Rally Coach. Pupil A and Pupil B take it in turns to answer questions and explain their workings as they answer the questions whilst their partner listens, praises or coaches as necessary. This can be used as a peer assessment tool also or an individual worksheet.

I created these for my year 8 class to revise questions in the style of the numeracy procedural tests. I used them as starters throughout the year. Very effective as they gained confidence every lesson. Also easy to change the numbers to use again.
