I know irregular verbs can be very difficult to master at a young age as it is a highly dynamic concept and there are so many, however this resource explicitly looks at them at all. There is a memory game of the prepositions and the names of the European countries in French. You can divide the class up into groups and they can score points for their team for every missing country that they remember. There are also quizzes about the countries and the prepositions used when expressing them. Subsequently, the students then copy out the table and fill in the missing gaps. There is also an accompanying colouring in poster of the flags of the European countries with a wordsearch. This resource looks at phrases which use the verb 'avoir' as opposed to 'etre'. The presentation of this concept has been composed in the form of a story about an eleven year-old girl who has recently moved to France and she doesn't speak French that well, resulting her in frequently using phrases that should use 'avoir', forms them with 'etre' instead.
