Santa online research lesson I work in an online school so this a lesson designed to be used with the internet. This is a lesson where you can begin as a whole class and then set them off to do online research or load it up as an online lesson. The ‘spot the difference’ slide and ‘wordsearch’ slide have the answers on so do amend anything before you decide how to use it. Then sit back while the pupils do all the work!

An Easter lesson which teaches comparing two sources but in a fun and interesting way. It is designed to teach identification skills at a time when pupils are flagging! This has been designed as an online lesson but you will be able to adapt it easily for classroom use. Comes with many external hyperlinks for this purpose. Learning outcomes: I can identify the viewpoints in both texts and can describe some of the similarities and differences. I can identify the viewpoints in both texts and can explain what the main subjectivity and objectivity are. This is a resource made to accompany the York notes series. This can be used also as a stand alone scheme of work. There is a large power point which has supporting worksheets which you can either print or use images straight from the powerpoint. Page references are from the Scholastic edition of the test. I put this together on an old laptop so you may find some of the fonts haven’t translated over well. If it looks like Hieroglyphics, simply highlight and change to comic sans. Apologies for that!
