Analysis Skills Lesson Starters Bundle
Each PPT slide had a short paragraph or passage taken from a range of sources (fiction and non-fiction)
Underneath each paragraph is three tasks. A Must, A Should and A Could - this allows for pupils to work through each lesson starter at a pace suitable for them. These are analysis based tasks looking at things such as word choice and sentence structure. Would be useful for a class working on Close Reading/Reading for UAE.
Have been used as lesson starters of an extenstion activity for pupils.

Various conferences that allow young people to explore the issues in their school, come up with solutions and evaluate and develop their skills.
Each bundle of resources include a PPT presentation and any resources required to make the conference run smoothly.
Pupil Voice (School Council) Conference - Looking Forward, Backward, Inward and Outward
Resources to deliever a pupil voice conference around the theme of the "Looking Forward, Backward, Inward and Outward" - pupils evaluate their council and develop forward plans for an issue that they wish to look at. They can also evaluate their skills and what they need to work on to be a successful member of the pupil council.
There is also a pupil and staff charter to sign in order to be part of the school council.
Analysing Imagery Powerpoints
Two PPTs and a Worksheet helping pupils to analyse a range of images. First PPT takes pupils through step by step analysing simple images while the second PPT asks pupils to identify images used in short extracts.
